Hardwood Rings

Lashbrook Designs
Lashbrook Designs implements a several-step process in creating their striking hardwood wedding rings. Thin layers of Birch wood are soaked and saturated with resin (dyes are added to resin for color contrast). The layers of wood are stacked and machine-heated and compressed, which firmly bonds the layers of wood. Two inches of wood are compressed down to one inch. The outcome is an extremely dense and waterproof wood that is difficult to crack, scratch or dent. In fact, the durability of this newly-formed material is comparable to that of Brass. Finally, the compressed wood is cut into circles which are inlaid between two interlocking pieces of metal. The end result is a ring that is as stunning as it is resilient.
All metals Lashbrook utilizes (Titanium, Black Zirconium, Cobalt Chrome, Damascus Steel, Tungsten, Carbon Fiber, Platinum, Gold) can be applied in the making of their hardwood wedding rings. Each metal-dyed wood combination offers its own surprisingly unique look.
